Yes, but it would cost to much on the host i use. I'm just setting up another host to see what i can do, starting price is £1.99 pm so not expecting to much lol. Thing is i really only need the refreshed pic although it's nice to see it all happenening in real time. Oh Marwell zoo has a cam on it's leaf cutters.https://www.marwell.org.uk/zoo/keep-in-touch/webcams

Just finished the foraging tank. I cut out a hole in a piece of acrylic i have used for the lid and painted the underside with PTFE. Should make feeding a bit easier now. Just need to put something over the hole in the top and ventilate it and put some insulation under the tank.

Back from my holiday, all of 8 days away with the ants left to their own devices. To my delight the ants survived without any care all on their own and with no problems. I was surprised that they preferred the Almonds and porridge oats over the Rose and Bramble placed in the vase. The water from the vase did make the humidity rise which caused the porridge oats to go mouldy and was left after a few days. They also enjoyed the rose petals i had spread on the surface and were still cutting these although they had mostly gone brown or had dried.Their favourite were the Almonds. All stats were stable and the fungus has grown and also the dump. It was great fun watching them via my web cam until it failed for some reason, but hey :)

Just to say also that during this heat spell, my little incubator system has kept the temps just right so i am very pleased. :)

Cheers folks, we went on a Birds and Dragonfly spotting/photography trek in the camargue as a group of 9, and coincidentally one of our group supplied Atta Sexdens for one of David Attenborough documentaries, Planet Earth perhaps. The camera man was Stephen Bolwell and with Professor Phil Holme of Southamton university, about 1983. Hope iv'e remembered the names correctly.

Southampton Uni used to have a very good research unit housing Atta sexdens for many years. Not actually sure if they still do. I remembered that when I read your thread Andy. Amazing, thats a distant memory, I remember when I was getting in to Leaf Cutters that I asked them about care requirements. They were very big in the day. Wonder if they still have them.
