hi if I try to remove the tee piece some of the ants my get out and there are loads of ants sitting in the clear pipe at the front do I have to move them as well
its all a bit worrying

No just leave them in the pop, It's not really important if ants fall in the water either, just ensure its not the queen. You can rescue some once the jobs done.
What I use is cotton wool. Separate join and plug both ends with cotton wool, same with the next.

hi guys have tapped tee piece out and have the smallest bit of fungus about the size of 2 pence piece it is a very small tube I put them in WHAT SHOULD I DO HELP PLEASE have added pictures

Yes, you need a transplant! I can send you some fungus if you cover the post and packing. Not a great problem to fix but in the mean time we need to establish where the problem lies. Feels like humidity to me. Do you have a probe right where the fungus is?

this is how I have them at the minute in pictures below as had to take everything to bits to get to them and had cotton wool and ants everywhere lol not gd.
when was setup I had temp on fungus but not the humidity I had that just in the tub with them.i got them in that tub and back in the tank as temp was getting low.
any help please

Steve put the lid to that small tub on top leaving a 2cm gap at one end for the ants to get in and out, it will help.

didn't have the proper lid so cut one to size and put on with 2cm gap

Do you have the original tub? It's got a 8mm hole in the side pre-drilled! That's how I house them, lid on with one access. Then a small blob of damp compost they can carry in or use to cover hole themselves! This works wonders for me! I also use leaves like fatsia to put the fungus on and put a leaf over like a canopy! They thrive for months like that and the leaves last ages!

I see Andrews already mentioned "foster fungus" which is good! We just need to make sure we tweek these issues first!
