Strange collecting technique!!

Strange collecting technique!!

Found this! Apparently this young lady was checking the depth that fungus gardens are found. Surley there must be easier ways. I also can only assume they must have killed all of the ants prior to digging, the soldiers would give her an interesting facial treatment. Guaranteed no rough skin after that defoliation!!

Just seems a strange thing to do. Cant really think of a set of circumstances where I would feel the need to do this. Just odd.
