Good tip, thanks. I don't expect them to move in for a good long while to be honest, I just wanted to get everything set up whilst they hadn't produced any soldiers. (I am a bit of a wimp I suspect - reference comments elsewhere on this forum)

But I may retry coaxing them into the 2nd nest in the aquarium again but this time shroud the nest in darkness. No rush though.

Really that size and there is no soliders yet wow I've got lot soliders and mine fungus don't look same size as yours I wonder why that is that not got soliders ?? Wonder if Andrew might no

Yeah, its maybe because when they look out at Richard, they see this friendly, 'wimp' grinning back at them and feel they don't need any soldiers to take him in a fight.

Last piece of the puzzle. Not that you can really notice the difference in the picture but I've replaced the little 10*10*20 cm feeding chamber with a much larger one. And stuffed it full of privet :)

And relax... :) This expanse should last me at least a year...

What's the next project? Dart frogs anyone ?

Looks great Richard! Dart frogs are really interesting, great when you raise the the tadpoles yourself.
