I dont actually agree with the comments about cost of Seans pods to be honest. Material cost has little to do with final cost if there is manufacturing involved. I have been manufacturing items all my life. For instance you wouldn't buy a new pair of jeans for £30 and say thats ridiculous because the thread they used to make them only cost 30p. Some people might want to source the components and make this themselves. This has always been the case with manufactured items and this forum is probably not a good place to roll out a new product because most of the serious hobbyists on here would unlikey be customers for Seans pods, rather trying to replicate what he has done. A mass audience wants something they can basically get and set up without any hassle. Seans pods, with the eventual addition of some form of integrated heating, ticks this box. It would be a shame if Sean decided not to proceed with this idea, especially if this decision was made as a result of negative comments from here. I actually applaud any form of innovation and I think we need to remember that when you finally see a finished idea that is possible to copy, you are not just copying the bits of plactic and other components, you are taking months of trial and error and experimenting and jumping straight to a solution that someone else has worked hard at achieving. Just some thoughts for you.

Mine are doing well too sean. How does the traffic cope in the narrow tube ? I find mine are leaving it short of the fungus pod and cutting it into smaller pieces before continuing their journey.
