Hio, yes I did from british Ants, but they are not collecting in the trails I expected - its only a few out at a time.

Since the fungus is burried I have no idea on its state, if teh queen is alive and brood etc

Hi, you need to dig around and get eyes on the fungus. This will not harm the colony, quite the reverse, any damage you cause will stimulate the colony into activity. So check and let us know the state of play with the fungus.
