Queen and Fungus Merger

Post by mcwoodhill1 » Mon Feb 18, 2019 7:00 am

i was gifted with a queen and a small piece of fungus with few workers. by putting em together the queen shredded the fungus and threw small bits all over the substrate. the workers then abandoned the fungus too and gathered at a corner. days later the queen died and the workers returned to the fungus and started to work on what's left there

I might have a chance to acquire one new queen. is there any practical way to merge the two together and make a thriving small nest?

Big thanks in advance!!!

We have managed to get a few workers to adopt a queen if she is alone.
Could you try it.
