Yeah! You can buy the resin from Hobby craft, if you have a lot of dead queens it might be worth doing it yourself Formica! :)

That wasn't mean to appear as bitchy as it came out! I keep dead Queens because I sell them on to Entomologists and make some money back from them. It's not uncommon to have lots of dead Queens when you're a dealer, it's a small percentage of loss to be expected!. Big kisses to all those I have managed to offend, if I haven't offended you yet just give it time! lol :lol:

Has anyone tried to put fungus into this resin. If it could be done then it would be possible to do a complete small colony by collecting dead ants and posing them. :shock:

It might be possible to put the whole fungus and the ants in a glass case and then replace the air inside with some sort of preservative gas, then you could put in on display. It would be interesting to see if it would work, however it's nice to see a colony that's alive!
