What species are they?octospinosis?

Just as a link I'm afraid. Yes octospinosus which he bought from you I believe a while back I may be wrong

And.'otice the heatmat UNDERNEATH the setup.,because the fungus is so big, I think the breathing of it alone creates a constant humidity and circulates the air

Firstly the colony looks fantastic! Amazing. Really nice to see. Can you ask Kyle to join, Marco. He should be a member here!
Secondly, Bitterlime, where did you get the tech skills. Sounds like a tech mod in the making!
And finally. the fungus is separated from the heatmat by the clay balls. Its only a problem when there is no airflow between the fungus and the base. Kype has, by design or accident, solved this problem very well.
Nice post Marce, colony is as good as it gets with Acros.

Sure Kyle's colony is 5 or 6 year old now, looks like its doing well. But a colony with space and food I imagine would be far far bigger.
This does show they can be as big as you allow them!
