Condensation

Hey,

I was just looking for a little advice for my relatively new colony of atta's, it's around 100 or so strong (at a guestimation). It's housed
in an aquarium, water surrounding all the sides inside a glass tray. The glass tray has a nest tub with a 13mm hole in the side, I only
get a condensation build up on the inside of the lid of the nest tub, the issue is that the fungus is just about to reach the top of the lid, will the
condensation cause any issues to the fungus or should i look to change it?

Thanks in advanced, a newbie to the forum and keeping leafcutters.

Ash

Ash, can you sit something ontop of the lid to act as insulation, something that the ants wont destroy. The reason you are getting condensation there is that will be the coolest point. If you are able to insulate it somehow then the condensation will disappear.

Great idea, thanks for the input. I'll give that ago and see if I can reduce it.
