Hi from Italy (again)

Post by Guglielmo » Mon Dec 07, 2015 9:50 am

Hello to everyone, my name is Guglielmo and I am from southern Italy. I work in a science centre here and have always been fashinating by leafcutter ants. Here in the centre I have a colony of Acromyrmex octospinosus - they are doing great and I have more than 500 young queens in the anthouse (colony is 2 and half year old). Untill I learn how to upload pictures here, this is a link to a video I made here with a previous colony (which was unfortunately destroyed by a huge fire)

Now I have both Acromyrmex octospinosus and Atta cephalotes - these last ones are going to pe part of a big display in a new wing of the centre

ok, I guess it was too much for a presentation...
