In order to keep things recognisable I was trying to keep the sizes in fixed categories. Dont know if its better to put exact size down or use the category the size of the fungus is in. Thoughts?
I agree its has to stay in fixed categories or it becomes bloated and messy looking.

Raj, I would never attempt to post these out. Problem with this colony and the cost is customers will expect either that you deliver it or that you give a guarantee of arrival in perfect health. With so much fungus it is difficult to select an acceptable method for carriage. With small colonies they can go special delivery but with your thats going to be a chore. And risky too, especially at this time of year. I would expect the fungus to be destroyed on arrival through normal post. That means whoever gets this is going to be on your back about how the colony is. Also you will not be able to declare what it is to the couriers or they will refuse to carry. With anything over medium I always deliver or arrange to meet somewhere. If you do this you have a better chance of trouble free sale or you should let the buyer know that carriage is at their risk.

Would be good to see some up to date pictures of this colony Raj. The pictures you have were older ones were they not?
