When I was starting to organise bringing leaf cutting ants in to the country I approached BWIA and phoned a woman in Trinidad who worked for the airlines to ask some questions about the transport of the colonies back to this country. After about 10 minutes of difficulty I finally managed to ask her a question that she understood, given my Scottish accent and her lack of a scottish accent.
"So" I shouted (it was a bad line) "can my ants travel in the hold of the aircraft?"
She immediately shouted back at me, not because of the bad line but because she was exasperated....
"Sir, I have told you. Your relatives will have to travel in the passenger compartment, the same as all the other passengers!"
