Ok thanks I'll have a look if her antenna are ok when I get home (on the way now) and at what frequency should I add ants and what size of the ants should I be adding?

home now and one antenna is missing and the over only half can be seen :cry: how will this effect (kill)her ? also why does she not go onto (near) the fungus when she can walk?

Without the antennae the prognosis is not good. You should monitor this and let us know. The reason your queen is not in the fungus is that she has lost her ability to interface with the world. Its about the most serious injury the workers can inflict on another ant. Which is why thats what they do when they attack what they think is a stranger.

well atm she is acting "normally" well the same as when I got her hopefully that's a good sign but she has eyes cant she see at least basic shapes? and with the adding of the ants what frequency should I be adding them and what size ants should I be adding

The queen often holds the antennae against her head. Photo is unclear. If the queen arrived with the ants it would be unlikely that she was without antennae. It may be that they are there but difficult to see.

ok, I have good news atm non are attacking her and there is now around 20-30 with her even some bigger workers

fantastic update they have started to clean her, now about 40-50 workers there
