i was tempted to get acros as well once i had these established but i think collecting leaves for 2 larges leaf cutting colonies will be a pain especially in winter, so i will stick to my attas, i may change my mind in a few years but i cant see it, theres a lot of other tropical species i would like to keep.

Lol I know the temptation to have both as I don4e the same thing. Last thing I'd say on it mate is there isn't that much of a difference apart from a big queen to warrent the cost of the ants and set up then when you realise one was enough you find it hard to sell. Would I have changed my mind at the time?? Maybe not but just saying from experience

OK, stand out wimpy comment of the day!
Dale, try 160 colonies in December!!
I think its time to man up!

Anyway, way more fun than drinking (AndJ), firefighting (Jamie), certainly adding numbers up (Richard), catching fish (Jon) or just about anything you can do legally with your clothes on. That didnt read back quite like how I imagined it would!

I think wimpy may have been a little uncalled for, lol. Andrew you may find it a little easier than others to feed you attas in winter, you have a rain forest in your backyard :lol:/

It's not everyday you can say to someone, "But you have a rainforest in your back garden!". Very witty Dale.
