Now Atta cupboard ;) white is mature, yellow old and Grey fresh, that pretty much the colours. I'm sure Andrew has posted a thread on fungus colour.
Are all boxes on each shelf connected?
I'll need to look into that USB thing,

If I was you I'd do a highway as its alot to be interconnected in a line. So you would have a pipe running parallel to the boxes. One for each shelf, then each box would be connected to this pipe rather than each other, would work much better. Just my opinion, thanks for the link!

So there would only be one hole needed in each pod? thats sounds a lot better, thanks for the advice

Yes that's right, much easier for ants to get from a-b
If I had space I'd have probably done a highway myself as it worked great in my last set up, but think I'll be ok with only 3 per shelf.

Well they seem to have come to a bit of a stand still now hopefully they will start cutting leaves again soon just to put my mind at rest, they havnt done for just over 2 days now i think it is. The fungus is looking healthy and there is plenty of movement in there. I know its just that im a novice that im worrying and that they will more than likely start up again soon.

Hey Daubz, was looking at your design again mate. I see you have pipe coming from the bottom shelf, out of the unit and then back in to the unit for the subsequent shelf above etc.
I take it your doing this so folk can see them, one problem you may get with this is condensation in the pipe.
25 degree air from the gardens will travel up a pipe that's open to room temperature, probably a good bit lower so the humidity with condense in the pipe and could cause you a lot if grief.
Doesn't take a big temp difference to cause this.
