Get a small air conditioning unit, a free standing one, from ebay. Should be able to pick one up for not much. Reverse wire a room stat and have it come on when the temperature goes over a certain level, and Daubz your auntie!
Do you think this would be ok

Things are ticking along very nicely, they have slowed a little bit today but the conditions are holding firm so im not worried, im trying lots of different leaves i find in the 2 woods near my house so if i find something they really take to i will post a photo of it.
There is now a bit of condensation inside the tank but nothing to worry about i think.

Because they slowed down cutting today i thought i would give them a grape, i thought something sweet may be good for the workers energy levels.

The fungus looks smaller than it is in the next 2 photos there is about an inch or so below the soil line

I think with a bit more messing with the room temp and the water temp i should be able to get the tanks condensation free without having the tank lid open.

Well the grape seemed to work, the fungus has grown over night and there was a lot of green all over. I was amazed last night watching a worker carrying a massive privet bud back to the fungus, i saw her struggling with it and i thought youve got no hope but after a bit of maneuvering and a couple of stops on the way she got it to the fungus.

Would that unit be man enough for an attic ? It says for a person or personal space. Just a thought.

I did think this to be honest, I think I may need to go bigger, I just want to keep the costs down a little bit now my Mrs is starting to get a bit "annoyed" we will say by the amount I'm spending on the loft.

It' a fine balance with her indoors i know, but not as hard as sorting out condensation. I'm interested in what you come up with though as i would like to go down the same path as yourself and i know how hot my attic gets.

That is probably the most attractive setup I've ever seen! Good job!
