It's not everyday you can say to someone, "But you have a rainforest in your back garden!". Very witty Dale.
When I go to Trinidad I can say that to most people. I suppose it depends on where you come from! :P

Things seem to have gone up a gear now, there are a lot more ants in this colony now. I could see more and more over the space of 3 days. Like i said the fungus fell over but it was if they meant it to do it, i saw a lot of ants working around the base of the fungus when i came back a few hours later the fungus was on its side, they deem to be adding a lot more to the fungus since this happened, i checked on them last night and the fungus was almost covered in leaves ready to be added to the fungus.
Im not neglecting my colony but i am only spending an hour a day in the loft and the only time i open the tank is to swap leaves and it seems to be doing the trick, i think a lot of new keepers may be making the same mistake which i may have which is doing to much and opening the tank to often to see whats going on. I made the mistake when i first started out of having a setup which i couldnt see clearly what was going on without opening the tank which meant my conditions kept changing, now i can see everything so i dont have to open the lid unless i really have to.
