They've moved all the fungus back but it's not in a ball it's all spread out in a line sort of thing and they're tending t it now and have taken a few leaves now much

Fungus still not growing. Still the same shape etc. Really strange, they added 1 leaf that's it

Okay, can you get some fresh privet and place a leaf so it is touching the fungus garden.

I already did that earlier, they haven't really done anything other than try to drag it away. I have also cut up some very fine pieces of privet, Apple leaf and cabbage (their favourite) but still they drag it away. This is a real mystery, what do you think is wrong?

Is the fungus alive?
Have you done the tiny tiny pieces directly onto the fungus?
Can you see the queen. Does she still have her antennae intact.

I'm not sure, it looks alive. Not in the proper shape anymore though. Yep I placed them directly on the fungus.

Queen is fine, a lot more active now

Good news. Added some leaf to the fungus (the ants themselves cut it) and fungus has some growth. I've added an incubator and it's all,showing positive effects. Setup vid soon to follow
