Roses are a great food for them. I dont have any around me unless I go all SAS and raid the neighbours at night. Got shouted at the other day for taking privet from a hedge on a main road. I was about to explain what the leaves were for and then thought better of it.

Asha, my fiance, was out collecting leaves from a spot last year and this angry woman, who lived across the street, came out and said " What are you doing". Asha was taken aback and said" I'm collecting privet. Our Leaf Cutting Ants eat them."
