Britishants food recommendations.

What you feed, where you get it from, basically we will build up a comrehensive list of suitable plants to feed Leaf Cutters. Also in temperate countries, what do you feed them in the Winter?

I've always adopted the splattergun approach to foraging subjects. Gather everything around you and let the ants select the suitable ones. There are poisonous ones and palatable ones, sometimes they surprise you. Often I collect leaves of plants that I have never identified but know are good, those that grow around me are always raided. In summer you are spoiled for choice, fantastic times ahead.
