Food Plants used by myself

What you feed, where you get it from, basically we will build up a comrehensive list of suitable plants to feed Leaf Cutters. Also in temperate countries, what do you feed them in the Winter?

BLACKTHORN (Prunus spinosa) commonly known as Sloe
Hawthorn (Crataegus monogyna)
Cherry tree leaves
Silver Birch leaves
Leaves and flowers of Chaenomeles speciosa 'Moerloosei'. commonly known as Japanese quince

and the obvious such as lilac, privet, orange white, melon (the juice), pea shells, apple outer skin - cut thinly

Nice. Japanese Quince, never see or tried that. What did you focus on during winter?

my old atta colony used to love japanese quince, especially the flowers (the buds broken open or when they have just opened), also liked the leaves too.

In winter mainly used to feed mine Rose, privet, grape skin, apple skin, and orange pith.
