My Chrissie Present!

Post by Acromyrmexbob » Tue Dec 20, 2016 12:15 am

So each time I go on a collecting trip I need to build a very complicated box to satisfy the regulations for shipping animals (IATA). Its got to be double skinned and light, as shown in the thread in this section on the box in Australia. But I have felt for some time that using a hand saw is both time consuming and, in the tropical heat, very tiring! Having got a battery powered screwdriver to speed up the assembly process, I have now targeted a battery powered, small, circular saw to add to my kit.

The thought of having this fully charged and with enough power to cut all of the panels I need for each box fills me with excitement. Hopefully making these boxes from now on will be easy and quick. So excited to get this and use it (in Trinidad, first two weeks in January)
