Thanks for the positive words it's appreciated.
I have been planning this build for years as you can probably tell and I'm really happy at how it has turned out.
Atta have always appealed to me due to the soldier cast, although acro may be more practical I am happy to join the 5foot setup to this one and already have most of the materials needed to do this. I suppose another aspect is what Andrew has in stock when I order. I am not against a pipework walkway to the other side of the room and a separate terrarium and in fact that does really appeal to me.

I would go for Atta every time myself. Others here would disagree. You should make a decision based on what you are looking for in a colony. For large scale, expanding numbers and containment challenges then go for Atta, Acros are more easily housed and managed. I will email you.

Atta it is then. I enjoy a challenge. Soon to have 30odd emus running around my place so things are about to get fun. If you fancy trying emus Andrew give me a shout or if any of the zoos you work with want any

What do you think of the setup? Very easy and relatively cheap to build could easily be reproduced

Looks good. Need to watch humidity once condensation starts to form. Make sure you measure humidity within the nest chamber, not in the overall tank.

I have a hygrometer and thermometer within the nest chamber so not a problem to monitor that
