Magic's first set up

Post your builds, private or commercial set ups. This is where we will document the creation of housing or the planning and construction of projects from scratch. This differs from the Journal Section because this section does not concentrate on the Ants or the other animals that are being kept, this section focuses on the progress of the build.

Looking forward to seeing what you do. The jabalite is great value for money compared to celotex I thought. Bet you saved a few quid giving antstore stuff a miss at the minute.
You still doing the aquarium set up? Throwing me with the jabalite lol

This looks fantastic. You are much more prepared than me when I got my first colony. So I'm sure they are going to thrive!

Just drilled some holes in aquarium. It wasn't so bad unfortunately one of the glass cracked, Will glue some support and hopefully will be okay :)

Drilling holes in glass takes ages to master. I can see your skidding marks around the holes. Great fun. The cracked panel should repair with silicone OK, use fungicidal free high mod silicone, thats important.
