Jamie, remind me, you've got an Acromyrmex nest. Is this for an Atta?

Re: Deansie's Acromyrmex cupboard build
Hi, quick update, using Atta and not Acromyrmex now as don't feel Acromyrmex will get large enough for what I'd like to have the colony like, I'd rather expand the set up in the future than not fill it if that makes sense.
Foraging side insulated, fungus side heat tested. Bought a nice sized base for what will be the most, I did pick up a small viv but not wasting my time with it. Ordered another metre of pipe and waiting for the hinges to secure the lids to the cylinders I drilled in work last night with little problem, surprising as the only vice I had for holding them was my thighs ha ha.

I'm looking forward to seeing ants in it too! Not putting any in the fungus tanks but will put some on the foraging area so they can take it up if they want it.Atta solider wrote:Nice mate are you going be putting bit of soil in there were fugus will go or not I can't wait see it all done

He's kindly agreed to swap my Acromyrmex colony for an Atta.Atta solider wrote:Cool you got colony of atta or you getting some of Andrew?
