The Zoolab Tropical Themed Zoo

Post your builds, private or commercial set ups. This is where we will document the creation of housing or the planning and construction of projects from scratch. This differs from the Journal Section because this section does not concentrate on the Ants or the other animals that are being kept, this section focuses on the progress of the build.

More block carving. We will work up to the tree tomorrow then on Monday we are going to do some natural rock carving to illustrate the difference and I will show pictures then. Today we also scratch coated the base of the tree. Heres the pictures......

Wow!
Is it just me - or does the room look a LOT bigger after the stuffs all been put in??

Started on the rockwork last week.
Just done the tops and some of the sides of the enclosures. Will really come together when the rockwork is properly coloured so you are seeing this at a stage when most people would be kept away!!!!

We also added the scratch coat to the fish tank / pond display.

Finished sculpting the rockwork around the zoo style exhibits, including the Leaf Cutting Display.
