Hello all great to be back tell you my atta colony well they are now on 8th pod and growing super growing they take so much leafs now they block up the tubingnwith there cuttings and then see them move
Them to the gardens growing it and other week they was putting waste in the tubing between the pods but now they moved ti the waste pod am thinking putting two waste pods as they fill up the pod fast

Thanks I won’t leave this group, well I had to change the set up as the ants fort it funny to block up the tubing to the fungus gardens with there waste I will down load photo pic to put pics on hear, there so ants now in outworld it’s getting harder to clean it out with out getting covered in ants.

I know what you mean! I hoover out the dump tank here, then pick out the escaping ants from the hoover....I've kind of got used to be being bitten now, I guess you would after a while.

The colony you have is starting to get large which is accompanied by all sorts of management problems. Perhaps the pods may have a size limit and beyond this you may need t think of alternative housing to keep the colony healthy. Watch out for a colony crash, if things start to go wrong it can go down very very quickly.

Hello all I've had long time to get on and some to Andrew about it all but am sorry to say I have lost my atta colony so now I don't have one of the biggest no more
I will hope next year I will get colony going again in my set up it's all ready for a new one.

So good to see you back o0n here Rick. Your presence will be much appreciated. You have become one of the experienced keepers of leaf cutters. To take your coony and grow it to the scale you did was absolutely amazing!

Thank you Andrew I will be thinking buying different atta you have in your shop. As my set up needs leaf cutter colony in it, great be back and see other leaf cutter ant members and see there is new ones
