I'm still working on it! Going to try and buy the domes, back at school which is keeping me busy! My ants are active and still cutting and I'm going to change the water tomorrow!

Thank you, I really like the look of it! But its not a complete dome and it needs to be fixed to wall so I'm not sure how I could use them! But it has given me an idea!

It isn't a complete dome granted but it doesn't need to be fixed to a wall if not getting used as a fish tank :))

The heater in my ant tank broke last night and the temperature went below 20c! I have put them in a sort of temporary setup with a heat mat underneath them! I have managed to get the temperature back up, but they don't seem very happy and could easily escape! :( :? I have had a new idea for my clinical set up and tomorrow I am going to pets at home to look at some biorbs, instead of using a dome I'm going to try and use spheres. Hopefully I can get the setup built and move the fungus ASAP! Image

Nightmare Eloise, least you noticed it quickly. Thats a bonus of the soil, if your heating goes the temperature will drop much quicker in a clinical set up that a soil based one which will hold heat longer.
Biorbs sound interesting, you should check gumtree out as will probably be able to pick one up at half the price.

My ants are okay! They are on a heat mat, the temperature is fine and I have managed to keep them from escaping!

The ants are using the rope walkway and are cutting leaves which is good! The temperature is 25c and the humidity is 89% which is also good but I'm worried about the colour of the fungus :?

From that picture the fungus looks fine. Ants are clearly adding to it. Dont think there is anything to be concerned about tbh.
