I'll have to take some tomorrow as I really don't want to disturb them at the moment - sorry. Instructions from Andrew lol

I did take a pic when they first arrived, is it normal for the fungus to be this colour?

It gets all broken up during transit so takes them a while to sort the good from the bad.

I got up earlier and was horrified at the amount of rubbish in the water. Old bus of cut leaves, dead fungus, squashed brood from he lid of the pot etc. I've cleaned the water out and now they've stopped dumping nearly as much. Glad to see they've settled in nicely though, fungus is already beginning to look better and more in shape. It's getting a dome now where as it was just flat before. The queen is also now on the other side of the garden

The fungus now, after all the rubbish has been removed:

Ps. I've just realised how hard it is to take photos of fungus, you can never show how much there really is! Trust me the pictures makes it look like half the amount there really is

Very nice :). You'll have a beast of a colony in no time! How will they be transported back to France?

Atta cephalotes (2019)
Camponotus detritus (2018)
Camponotus maculatus (2018)
