As long as you saw them inside the nest, on the fungus, everything is good!

Wow, doing so much better since my last update. Lot more ants and lots of brood now.

I put a tub of coco peat in there which I bought for 2.50 from Gamm Vert last week, now the enterance is a come shape and the fungus is a lot bigger.

There's more soldier pupaes and they cut A LOT everyday now, really happy. Will be getting atta sexdens and atta cephalotes bicholor next month

Hi Marco, good to hear from you. Hows things. Dont think we have any other member with sexdens. I had a colony of bicolor a few years ago. I did some research, these particular ones were from Panama. The latin name, which is very obscure, is Atta cephalotes isthmithicus, which is weird because I found this around 5 years ago but cant find it anywhere online now? Maybe it has changed.

Sorry for late reply.
Been good thanks, bought a new shop space that I have converted to an ant room, atta are going well. The sexdens are only 60 euros!!
I've never heard the Latin name of bicolor, unusual.
Today I changed the atta setup a little as their old container was too small. The fungus is growing well.
