Re: Magic's Acromyrmex journey
Magic do the doors on the unit have the jabalite insulation attached to them as well?
There seems to be far more condensation on the walls than in the initial photos.
Might be an idea to put a small upside down plastic tub in there to give them options. Place it near the fungus, if they prefer it they will move in, have no vent holes apart from the entrance.

I'm not happy with the condensation at all, I will try to put the nests a bit up as Andy said, I hope that will help.
What kind of plastic tub you suggest? It's something like upside down down jar with one entrance ?

Re: Magic's Acromyrmex journey
The dripping is a serious problem that needs fixed asap, this can be done with a heat source place on top attached to a thermostat. You might get away with it attached to the same thermostat or you may need another thermostat set at just below the tank temp. You then adjust by watching the drips-see what the lowest setting is that removes the drips.Magic wrote:Yes it is dripping from the top :/Deansie26 wrote:Similar to the one I see here, http://www.leafcuttingants.com/www.leaf ... ?f=13&t=24 just scroll down a little.

Thanks AndyAndyj wrote:Well done m8. What changes did you make ?
I made a bigger gap between the nest and the heat cable .
I am going to change the place for them . Will move them from the room to tittle storage place which will by easy to heat whole the space to make the temperature similar
