Not at the mo, it's all change as they're going in to a garden centre for Easter. Pics to follow in about 8 days! X

Here's the only two pics from the garden centre Leafcutter display (blame Bucket again grrr, It wasn't overly successful to be honest, the ants where on form but the weather wasn't!
Those that did venture out of the garden centre and find us where mesmerised by the QEII colony and plenty of questions where asked! The idea of the event was to introduce ants and the brand to a new audience, this definitely worked and it's something I'd like to do again! The ants will be brought back to BA HQ tomorrow, should be fun getting some soldier biting action (ooeerr) before a bus trip home!

I'm not sure if you can see it in that picture but there's a ball a bit bigger than a golf ball and it's solid brood! Must be about 10 thousand + it was a real treat as I generally don't peer in the main garden chamber!

It was transferred from the pods for a display, the container with handle was easier to transport on public transport than a three pod set up! I considered keeping this colony in this unit for ease of movement but connected the pods back up and last night they started to relocate fungus and brood back to the pods! It's a compliment from the ants as they prefer the pods but I may give them a hand this weekend if I get time!

Is that walkway a natural or artificial vine?
