Since they have discovered endive, the fungus seems to become a bit less white in my opinion

Tonight they took some blackberrie leaf, curly endive and oats. I also gave them a very youngh fresh leaf of privet which they almost entirely dismembered. They have never touched privet up to this point. Their favoritism towards youngh sprouts becomes clear now.

The fungus looks great! The top shows good signs of being added to. Well done, its working out, I think.

Its been 2 days since i gave them the white of a clementine. They were overjoyed to find a new stash and started building it into the fungus right away :D

Looking good there nice to see it coming on slowly. Once the fungus gets bigger and lot more workers you see the fungus grow fast.

Really enjoying this thread. I am however wondering what an overjoyed ant looks like. Got some images in my brain but would really need to be there to see what their little faces look like when they are overjoyed!

Nice to know! I dont mind that they are taking it slow but steady. I imagine there will be a point where i would wish they would take it easy :D its fun to see them evolve.
